FTB180

The FTB180 outdoor photocell is a compact and cost-effective solution, suitable for a wide range of applications in automation and security systems.

The system consists of a battery-powered transmitter (2 × 1.5 V AAA batteries) and a receiver powered by 12–24 V DC. Thanks to the very low transmitter current consumption, the photocell is particularly suitable for installations where electrical power is not available on the transmitter side.

The photocell uses infrared technology (940 nm) to detect the presence of obstacles between the transmitter and receiver. When the infrared beam is interrupted, the output relay switches, with a selectable NO or NC contact.

The operating range is over 12 m, with an emission angle of ±5°, ensuring stable and reliable operation. The device is designed for outdoor installations and is suitable for systems that do not pose risks to people or property.
